Job Details

Title: IT Operations Technician/Network Ops Engineer

Location: BOC 1006 E. Bearss Ave Lutz, FL 33549

Duration: 6 Months

Hours: Onsite M-F 9am - 6pm (hours may vary on work load & tasks)

**Must pass a NERC BG. Knowledge of a product called HCO would be a BONUS**

Must Haves:

  • 6-8 years of experience supporting the Operational roles of new and existing network Devices
  • Experience with Cisco routers, Switches and Wireless Access Points
  • Experience Monitoring and responding to alerts and outage conditions
  • VMWare
  • Cisco Routers and Switches
  • Wireless controllers and Access points
  • SolarWinds

Network:

Device configuration: Installing and configuring network devices like routers, switches, and load balancers.

Network maintenance: Performing routine checks, updates, and patching to maintain network stability and performance.

Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving network issues, including connectivity problems, slow performance, and security breaches.

Security implementation: Implementing network security measures like access controls, encryption, and intrusion detection systems.

Performance monitoring: Tracking network performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and optimize network usage.

Any addition information: Responsibilities: Perform operational roles and support techs on BOC projects.
