Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Product Designer 5 - AI for a contract position in Redmond, WA. The opportunity will be for two months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.

Position Summary:

The main function of this role is to design, develop, and implement applications using general languages and technologies (e.g., C#, C, HTML) to support business requirements. The team focuses on supporting industry solutions engineering by leveraging emerging technologies to collaborate with external customers. These technologies include AR/VR, GenAI, and robotics, such as physical AI. The goal is to create visionary prototypes and solutions that demonstrate value at scale across multiple industries. The team will envision the future of a product or industry, conduct research, and brainstorm innovative ideas. Initially, they will create a PowerPoint deck to present their vision to the customer, followed by a video demonstrating how to utilise emerging tech for this vision. Most projects last 2-3 months. This role involves contributing to the team's efforts, with a focus on 3D visualisation and AI utilization. The role requires brainstorming and building prototypes, creating 3D animations or worlds, and layering data and AI on top of the prototype.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Analyse highly complex business requirements and generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications.
• Act as an expert technical resource for modelling, simulation, and analysis efforts.
• Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement, and support solutions.
• Ensure quality, security, and compliance requirements are met for the supported area.
• Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment.
• Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner.

Qualifications:

• Years of Experience Required: 10 years of experience in the field.
• Degrees or Certifications Required: No degree is required for this role.
• Best vs. Average: The ideal candidate will have experience with Gen AI, be up-to-date on emerging AI tools, and have created video or imagery using AI. Significant experience in UI/UX is a major plus.
• Ideal Portfolio: A strong portfolio will demonstrate a good understanding of 3D, lighting, camera placement, and storytelling using data. It should also include UI/UX design work, previous work with video and/or audio, and various types and styles of animation, including realistic and mechanical/manufacturing styles.
• A bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field required.
• 0-2 years of experience required.
• Development experience in needed languages or technologies (e.g., C#, C, HTML).
• Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and successfully deploying large-scale projects from end to end.
• Hands-on experience in following the iterative and agile SDLC.
