Job Description
Must be onsite due to working in labs with hardware builds for assembly and testing purposes.

Top 3 must-have HARD skills:
Project management experience
Clear and concise communicator, dealing with broader audience that will involve stakeholders
Demonstrated by responsibilities or job title meeting smaller scale projects

Good to have skills:
Experience with products
Formalized study of program management like PMP cert

Years of overall experience required:
8 plus years of Technical Program Management experience in commercial products or anything that's applicable to hardware or software. Could be 3-5 years of engineering and maybe 1-2 years of project management.

Degrees/certifications required:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Robotics, or related technical field, like electrical, or even computer engineering as this is a hardware and software

Minimum Qualifications
8+ years of Technical Program Management experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Robotics, or related technical field
Proven experience in driving programs within ambiguous research or in v1 development environments.
Experience managing external technical engagements with industry and academia.
Knowledge in graphics pipeline development, rendering algorithms, GPU architectures, and VR/AR graphics systems.
Experience in organizational management, budget control, and headcount management.
Ability to travel up to 10%.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing prototype or V1 hardware + software systems
Experience working with a cross-disciplinary team of researchers, software engineers and hardware engineers
Experience with managing Human Studies to support ML data collections
Self-starter with proven analytical and organizational skills
Experience in scoping and shipping Consumer Electronics hardware
Experience with computer vision, optics systems, robotics, or autonomous vehicles
Demonstrated experience to work with cutting-edge technologies with ambiguous development schedules
Vendor and partner relationship management experience including setting up effective contracts and communication channels

Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Technical Program Manager to join our team as a CW. We are specifically looking for a candidate with experience working on early stage, cross-functional efforts working in partnership with leaders in research, hardware engineering, software engineering, product management, and design

Responsibilities
Work with research and engineering teams to develop early prototypes
Develops detailed work plans, project estimates, status reports, project tracking and analysis.
Coordinate communication between internal and external teams, vendors and partners
Provide key stakeholders with full visibility of the program schedule, progress and potential roadblocks
Cross disciplinary communication of hardware, software, and electrical system requirements
