Technical Support Engineer

Rate: $35-$37/hour (W2)
Location: Tempe, AZ (100% Onsite)
Contract: 1 Year
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Overview:
We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer to provide hands-on and remote support for a corporate environment. This role supports local users and collaborates with a nationwide IT team. Ideal candidates are proactive, customer-focused, and experienced with modern Microsoft technologies.
Top Skills:
  • 5+ years of desktop & remote support experience in a Windows 11 environment
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Intune and Entra ID (Azure AD)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with Microsoft 365 applications
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and basic networking (DNS, DHCP)

Responsibilities:
  • Provide Tier 1 & Tier 2 support for local and remote users
  • Troubleshoot Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and connectivity issues
  • Support via walk-up, phone, chat, and remote tools
  • Document incidents and escalate as needed
  • Act as the onsite IT resource and maintain visibility

Technical Environment:
  • Lenovo laptops, Windows 11 OS
  • Tools: Zendesk (moving to Freshservice), GoToAssist
  • Management: Intune, Entra ID, Defender for Endpoint

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Tempe, AZ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
