Job Details
The Vision Display module team is searching for a candidate to drive innovative module design, development and validation for new display products! As a display module engineer, you will collaborate with multi-functional teams and suppliers to ensure the successful implementation of new display technologies and drive engineering excellence from initial concept to final mass production. You will lead module development throughout the entire project phase; spec development, build planning, figure-of-merit definition, ERS creation, execution, and module validation and sign-off. This position demands proactive problem-solving across many technical domains, including optical design, human perception, product development, material science, manufacturing process, optical metrology, reliability testing, and failure analysis. A successful candidate needs to be results driven, have strong presentation and communication skills, and can thrive in a fast paced and highly dynamic environment.
Description You will be responsible for the following: - Support development of overall display module specifications and architecture down section validation - Define module build goals, build configs and matrix with XFN teams to acquire module learnings - Assess, create and develop the best solutions to characterize & measure the performance of our modules. - Benchmark module performances across internal configs and comparable alternatives - Create CTQ metrics and ERS for internal teams and vendors - Travel to support build and verification at component, module, and system factories during critical new product introduction phases - Identify module failure modes and root causes; drive teams to develop mitigation methods
