Job Description

This role is part of the Release, Standards & Risk Management sub-chapter within the DW (Digital Workplace) Solutions & Control chapter.

The entry-level Release Strategist plays a key role in ensuring initiatives are met by strategizing deployment phases, increasing employee adoption and product or service usage. We ensure that end-user impacting changes and projects are properly vetted and verified prior to being released into Production. We partner with key stakeholders to ensure that all parties are unified and standardized to manage risk, and continuously strive for improvement.



Responsibilities:Lead change management activities (as directed by senior RS)Follow and apply the Product Release Process' to ensure engagement of all stakeholders, like our Operations, Engineering and Product Management teamsSupport and partner with the User Education & Knowledge Management (UEKM) team on communication and training efforts by providing input, requirements, and support design and delivery to educate and drive product or service adoptionPartner with stakeholders and/or Project Managers to integrate change management activities into project plansGuide the delivery process e.g., phased release rings and scheduling with stakeholders and/or Project ManagersIdentify, analyze, and prepare risk mitigation tacticsConduct impact analysis to assess change readinessCreate benchmarks to assess potential end-user impactIdentify and engage key stakeholders for go / no-go' reviewDefine and measure success metrics and monitor change progressReview product or service changes for other end-user impacting teams outside of DW - to avoid unnecessary overlapPartner with the QA workstream to track and report issuesIdentify and manage anticipated resistanceCreate actionable deliverables Collaborate with stakeholders, UEKM and Communications teams to assist with building campaigns for large impact deploymentsCollaborate with stakeholders to outline phased release rings and target dates, while considering other overlapping/overarching initiatives and/or blackout datesCoach stakeholders on adoption plans, while considering other overlapping/overarching initiatives and/or blackout datesProactively strategize for possible resistance to change.

Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
