Job Details
Job Title: Scrum Master
Location: Buffalo, NY 14203
Duration: 18 months contract
Primary Responsibilities:
- As a Senior Scrum Master, you will perform core Scrum Master duties at an advanced level, with a focus on leadership and driving team success within an Agile environment.
- Lead and facilitate all Agile ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
- Act as a bridge between team members, product owners, and stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication across all parties.
- Apply in-depth Agile and Scrum knowledge to foster team performance, including guiding the teams in best practices.
- Provide continuous coaching to teams and stakeholders on Agile methodologies, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Resolve team conflicts, encourage collaboration, and maintain team morale.
- Hands-on approach to delivery; not just a facilitator, but someone who "rolls up their sleeves" to help teams meet objectives.
- Manage multiple teams simultaneously, ensuring smooth collaboration and adherence to Agile principles.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 5-8 years working as a Scrum Master or a similar role.
- Required: Jira, Confluence Nice to Have: Rally or other project management tools
- Strong Agile/Scrum competence and the ability to manage teams independently.
- Prior banking experience is beneficial, but not required.
Preferred Certification:
Scrum Alliance, SAFe
