As a Metrology Process Technician you will monitor equipment and product to ensure completion down the line. You will investigate needs for recipe modification, investigate issues, troubleshoot, and report findings to process owners. Metrology Process Technicians recover common errors and write compliant recipes on assigns tools sets and escalating problems as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Use GeRM, MES, toolset specific analysis software
  • Understand how our partners use data created by metro team.
  • Communicates with other teams
  • Seeks available data, tools, and resources for troubleshooting
  • Demonstrates troubleshooting skills, ability to identify problems, and root cause analysis
  • Provides feedback for continuous area improvement both for documentation improvements and area improvement focus teams
  • Prioritizes down tools, lot holds, and customer requests based on current area needs
  • Minimizes own recipe set up errors, deviations, rework, scrap, excursions
  • Write effective QDRs
  • Follow MDQ reaction document, minimizes repeat failures, documents POR recipe updates
  • Identify and promptly report hazards, stops work for unsafe conditions/behaviors
  • Follows safety procedures and area work rules including proper PPE, lockout and chemical safety
  • Operate and maintain equipment and tools within manufacturer's and company guidelines

Minimum Requirements
  • PC skills including MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Flexible with job responsibilities and shift assignments
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts (3 on/4 off and 4 on/3 off)

Preferred Requirements
  • Education in industry related associate degree; working towards a STEM related degree; equivalent military training and experience; equivalent work experience
  • Applied proficiency in data analysis
  • Mechanical background
  • Prior semiconductor experience
