Description
We are looking for a skilled Senior IT Support specialist to manage and troubleshoot various technical challenges in a dynamic, onsite environment. This role requires expertise in desktop support, networking, and essential IT operations to ensure smooth functionality across multiple branches. Join a collaborative team dedicated to delivering high-quality technical solutions.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive desktop support to resolve technical issues and optimize system performance.
Configure and manage IP address setups to ensure seamless connectivity across the network.
Troubleshoot and maintain network equipment, including Cisco routers and firewall systems.
Assist in slicing and managing networking cables to maintain reliable connections.
Develop and implement branch-specific scripts for streamlined IT setups.
Handle hardware and software troubleshooting to ensure operational efficiency.
Collaborate with remote team members to align on network strategies and solutions.
Conduct occasional site visits within a 20-mile radius to support branch IT needs.
Maintain backup technologies and ensure data integrity and system reliability.
Work closely with higher-level IT personnel for training and escalations when necessary.
Requirements
Proven experience with Cisco routers and firewall technologies.
Experience with basic physical security technology tools.
Strong knowledge of Active Directory and backup systems.
Proficiency in IP addressing and basic network troubleshooting.
Solid understanding of computer hardware and software troubleshooting.
Ability to manage and configure networking cables effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with remote teams and onsite personnel.
Willingness to work 100% onsite in Elmsford, New York.
