SAP Group Reporting Program Manager

Remote, Travel, Carlsbad, CA

About the position

The SAP Group Reporting Program Manager will lead the strategic planning and execution of SAP Group Reporting initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization's financial consolidation, compliance, and reporting needs. This role involves managing a cross-functional team, engaging with stakeholders, overseeing financial oversight, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The Program Manager will also focus on continuous improvement and optimization of the SAP Group Reporting solution post-implementation.

 

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.

Strong project management and SAP experience, particularly in financial consolidation and reporting. 

Oversee SAP Group Reporting implementation projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and project plans.

Proven experience in SAP Group Reporting and financial consolidation.

Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA, particularly in the finance and controlling modules.

Experience with SAP integration technologies and ETL tools.

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Experience in a professional services or consulting environment is beneficial.

Leverage strong SAP knowledge, including SAP S/4HANA, Central Finance, and SAP BW/4HANA. 

8+ years of experience in SAP program management, with a focus on SAP financial modules, including Group Reporting.

Demonstrated experience in implementing financial consolidation, data integration, and reporting solutions, particularly within SAP environments.

Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA, SAP Group Reporting, and SAP FICO, as well as financial consolidation principles and regulatory compliance (IFRS, GAAP).

Proven leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.

Proficiency in risk management, budgeting, and change management strategies.

SAP certification in Group Reporting or SAP Financial Consolidation modules preferred; PMP or other project management certifications are a plus.
