EDA Product Engineer Signal & Power Integrity / 3D EM Tools

Remote

Long Term Contract

Leading EDA vendor's Product Engineering team to evolve their flagship SI/PI and 3D electromagnetic simulation suite. You'll own inter-tool integrations, usability, and customer-driven enhancements - turning field feedback into production-ready features.

What You'll Do

Develop & maintain core SI/PI and 3D EM products (including RF/microwave design tools).
Partner with global Field Applications Engineers to capture real-world usability gaps.
Translate feedback into detailed requirement specs for R&D.
Build, test, and deliver seamless software integrations across the EDA portfolio.
Own pre-release validation and author customer-facing documentation.
Some travel to customer sites or design centers.

Must-Have Skills

MS/PhD in EE, CS, or Electromagnetic Engineering
5+ years in RF circuit / antenna design
Deep knowledge of 3D EM solvers (FEM, FDTD, MoM, or equivalent)
Hands-on with industry EM tools (e.g., 3D field solvers, RF simulators)
PCB & package SI/PI simulation experience
Familiar with extraction & optimization tools (e.g., PDN impedance, decoupling, IR drop)
Passionate about UX and "right-first-time" workflows
Strong collaboration & English communication

Nice-to-Have

Agile product dev experience
Exposure to IC layout, PCB design, or system-level EDA flows

Scripting (Python/Tcl) for automation
