What This Person Will Do:
Provide technical acumen on architectural issues and program-level considerations.
Learn staff structure for tasking and management planning.
Integrate with a highly experienced, tight-knit team to deliver value.
Mandatory Skills:
Strong technical systems engineering experience, including:
o Strong knowledge of Cloud Native offerings.
o Proficiency in Linux.
o Preference for a strong software engineering background.
o Ability to make high-level technical decisions utilizing Cloud, Linux, and other tools to support app development in on-prem/cloud environments.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with customers, technical leaders, and engineering teams.
Desirable Skills:
Prior experience supporting the NRO (or other Intel customers).
Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, DevSecOps practices, Infrastructure-as-Code (Ansible, Terraform, Puppet).
Scripting in Linux environments.
Deal Breakers:

**Position Description:**
Support ground processing system developers to meet evolving mission needs (e.g., modern communications signals) and enhance ground architecture (e.g., resiliency) for the Tactical Mission Framework (TMF). TMF delivers container orchestration and edge processing at multiple government sites, enabling DevSecOps pipelines for CI/CD and continuous operations to accelerate updates and reduce costs.
**Responsibilities:**
Modernize systems via agile development/deployment (e.g., containerization, Kubernetes).
Collaborate with developers/customers to define Jira epics/stories, track progress, and achieve objectives.
Conduct trade studies/demos to strengthen architecture resiliency.
Develop prototype tools.
Document system architecture, interfaces, CONOPs, and trade study results.
Maintain Confluence pages with technical roadmaps and planning details.
**Required Skills & Experience:**
Familiarity with CNCF offerings for app deployment (on-prem/cloud).
Linux systems usage and administration.
Bachelor's in CS or Engineering.
10+ years in systems engineering/software development.
5+ years in Intelligence Community programs.
Active TS/SCI clearance.
Knowledge of ground processing systems.
Ability to work independently and learn complex systems.
**Desired Skills & Experience:**
Master's in CS or Engineering.
Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, cluster management (k9s).
DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing, Infrastructure-as-Code (Ansible, Terraform, Puppet).
Scripting/programming (Python, Bash, VBA, Go).
Cybersecurity (PKI, container security, zero-trust).
Monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenSearch).
Networking fundamentals (routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs).
Leadership and customer engagement skills.
NRO ground systems knowledge.
SIGINT expertise (tasking, collection, processing, exploitation, dissemination).
Jira/Confluence proficiency for technical and programmatic collaboration.
