$80,000.00 /Yr. - $97,000.00 /Yr.
Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 15%

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 15%

These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.

About This Job
At Axos, we are committed to providing best in class digital services to our customers. These digital services are provided through the Axos product management team. The product management team at Axos is responsible for driving the strategy, delivery, and evaluation of the product roadmap across Axos digital platforms.

We are looking to add an Assistant Vice President, Product Manager to our Product Management team to support the Axos Self Directed Trading capabilities. The Axos Client Portal enables Axos D2C and B2B2C customers to access and manage all their financial accounts seamlessly across both web and mobile. This role will be driving our self directed trading product. This individual will work closely with our securities leadership to deliver a best in class securities trading and portfolio management experience to our clients. The role of Product Manager is pivotal in driving both customer facing and back-office solutions, better meeting the needs of clients by executing on the product vision. You will provide product leadership throughout the software development life-cycle, including product launch and go-to-market.

This position is on-site and located at our HQ in San Diego, CA

Responsibilities:
  • Building a strategic vision for your area of responsibility
  • Working with business stakeholders to understand trends and exploit market opportunities
  • Define and document workflows, process maps and data flows to illuminate needed changes to accomplish project objectives
  • Defining and prioritizing phased Go-to-Market strategies for successful product delivery
  • Collaborating with product owners, designers, and solution architects to define product requirements
  • Ensure operating and support structures are in place for the product (including documentation, training, and staffing)
  • Analyzing business metrics and customer feedback to improve product performance
  • Collecting customer feedback to address pain points
  • Presenting to leadership
  • Build consensus when there are differing opinions, and drive projects forward to meet key milestone dates
  • Good understanding of the software development process and be able to quickly identify blockers, requirement gaps, and other constraints, as well as help lead the team to overcome these impediments

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or other relevant experience
  • 4+ years building/managing technical products
  • Knowledge of the Product Development Lifecycle
  • Experience working in an agile / scrum environment
  • Knowledge of Self Directed Trading / Broker Dealer / Financial Advisor space
