We are seeking an experienced Associate-level Test Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Playwright automation, API testing, and manual testing to support in-house web application testing for our client. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical automation skills, functional testing experience, and a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality product releases.

We are seeking an experienced Associate-level Test Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Playwright automation, API testing, and manual testing to support in-house web application testing for our client. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical automation skills, functional testing experience, and a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality product releases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright for web application testing.
- Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar frameworks.
- Perform manual testing to validate functional, UI, and integration aspects of web applications.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify, reproduce, and track defects to closure.
- Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Participate in test strategy discussions, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and adherence to quality standards.
- Support continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines with automated test suites.
- Work closely with product owners and business analysts for requirement validation and acceptance testing.
- Overall Experience: 5–10 years in software testing, with a strong background in web application testing.
- Playwright Experience: Minimum 3–4 years of hands-on experience in Playwright automation (TypeScript/JavaScript or Python preferred).
- Strong experience in API Testing (manual and automation).
- Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.) is a plus.
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
