An Application Architect specializing in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is responsible for designing and developing AEM-based solutions like Sites, DAM, Forms, Guides, Franklin/ Edge and AEM-DevOps. They possess a deep understanding of AEM's capabilities and expertise in building websites, mobile applications, digital forms, and user interfaces. Throughout the project lifecycle, the Application Architect will translate business requirements into technology solutions, conduct unit and integration testing, and address any troubleshooting needs that may arise. This role requires a strong understanding of web development principles, as well as experience with content management systems and digital experience platforms. By focusing on these key areas, the Application Architect ensures the successful implementation and integration of AEM solutions into various business environments.

Required skills: 3+ years hands-on experience with Adobe Workfront Fusion (or similar iPaaS platforms)

Strong working knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, HTTP methods and status codes

Proficiency in JavaScript (Node.js), JSONPath, data transformation and scripting

Experience building custom connectors or modules within Fusion or equivalent platform

Solid understanding of authentication mechanisms: OAuth 2.0, API keys, JWT, SAML

Familiarity with scheduling, event-driven triggers and webhooks

Experience integrating major cloud/SaaS applications: Salesforce, Jira, Slack, Microsoft 365 suite, marketing automation tools

Good grasp of networking concepts (firewalls, proxies, VPNs), and secure data transmission

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
