Job Title: RHEL OpenShift Consultant
Location: Remote across US
Type: 12 months Contract
Job Summary:
- We are seeking a skilled Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and OpenShift Consultant to support and optimize containerized application platforms in a large-scale cable and video services environment. The consultant will work closely with infrastructure and application teams to ensure high availability, scalability and security of video streaming and content delivery systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with RHEL administration in enterprise environments.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift (OKD or enterprise).
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, containers and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in media or cable services environments is highly preferred.
- Proficient with Ansible, Helm, Docker and Podman.
- Understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing and firewall rules in hybrid environments.
- Experience with media workloads like video streaming, OTT delivery, CDN integration, or transcoding pipelines is a plus.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and hybrid deployments.
- Familiarity with telecom protocols or IPTV architectures.
