Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with a strong background in requirements gathering, process analysis, and stakeholder communication. The ideal candidate will have experience working in both Agile and Waterfall environments and will be comfortable leading discussions with cross-functional teams to support the delivery of enterprise IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Gather and document clear, concise, and testable business requirements aligned with the project scope.
Lead and facilitate requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders and project teams.
Develop and maintain the product backlog in Agile projects; work with the Product Owner to prioritize deliverables.
Analyze current and future-state business processes, systems, and data to inform functional requirements.
Ensure business needs are understood and properly translated into system functionality for technical and non-technical teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, architects, developers, and QA testers to ensure accurate understanding of the requirements.
Support project scope management and provide insights on the impact of changes to scope or requirements.
Assist in Build vs. Buy evaluations with supporting data and analysis.
Ensure the timely delivery of project artifacts and documentation as per established frameworks and standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field (required).
Minimum 5 years of Business Analyst experience.
Strong proficiency with Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
Experience in creating Epics, Features, and User Stories.
Proficient in documenting As-Is and To-Be business process flows.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across technical and business teams.
Experience managing requirements for large-scale IT projects is preferred.

Local candidates to Michigan only.
This is a hybrid role candidates must be able to work onsite 2 days per week from day one.
No remote-only option is available.
