Role Summary:We are seeking a Principal System and Electrical Engineer to lead system-level electrical architecture design and validation for cutting-edge automotive platforms. This role requires strong collaboration across systems, validation, and offshore teams, using tools like Siemens Capital to build traceable, efficient, and compliant architectures.
Key Responsibilities:-
Develop comprehensive electrical architectures using Siemens Capital and related tools.

Define ECU signal interfaces, network topologies (HV and LV), and integration strategies based on vehicle requirements.

Validate BMS, high-voltage distribution (e.g., HV-BJB), and safety-critical design components.

Mentor offshore teams (India/Mexico) on harness design, signal integrity, and embedded validation.

Apply DFMEA and FTA methodologies to mitigate design risks and failure modes.

Support Digital Twin environments through schematics, harness topology design, and PCB modeling.

Troubleshoot system-level issues involving electrical and software interfaces (e.g., CAN, UART, SPI).

Lead design reviews and document validation outcomes, influencing architecture through real-world implementation insights.

Electrical domain models and schematics using Siemens Capital

Interface validation reports for CAN, J1772, and ARM Cortex-M7
-
DFMEA and FTA reports for HV/LV circuits

Documentation from mentoring offshore integration teams

Integration-ready PCB assets aligned with UL and vehicle safety standards

5+ years in electrical integration, specifically in BMS, power management, and EV charging (J1772, J3068)

Proficiency in Siemens Capital, Altium Designer, and system validation in 400V 480V environments

Experience with cross-functional engineering teams (software, mechanical, harness)

Deep understanding of DFMEA, HDI PCB design, and UL compliance for EV systems

Leadership in mentoring and cross-disciplinary collaboration
