Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with at least 10 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD. This role is fully onsite in Newark, CA and demands deep expertise in tools like Python, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Jenkins (Groovy scripting). You will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining infrastructure and deployment pipelines that support modern, scalable web and microservices applications.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Groovy.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management with Terraform and Ansible.
Write robust Python scripts for deployment, testing, and operational tasks.
Deploy and orchestrate Docker containers using Kubernetes.
Maintain and optimize AWS infrastructure (EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudFormation).
Collaborate with development and QA teams to support rapid and reliable software delivery.
Monitor systems and troubleshoot performance or reliability issues proactively.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of DevOps experience with expertise in:
Python scripting
Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Docker
Jenkins and Groovy scripting
Strong background in AWS infrastructure.
AWS Certification (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) is required.
Proven experience deploying and supporting microservices architectures.
Preferred Qualifications:
Python Certification or demonstrable Python project experience.
Experience in the Electric Vehicle (EV) industry is a plus.
Exposure to mobile and web application deployment pipelines.
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
