World Wide Technology is looking for a Test Engineer. This role is part of WWT s Strategic Resourcing services and is a contract role. The candidate will be supporting a WWT customer and will be employed by one of WWT s preferred partners. The partner will provide full compensation and benefit information prior to employment with the partner.

Rate/Salary: A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this position is $80.00 to $85.00 hourly on W2 hourly. Actual pay will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs, and will be set by your employer. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in base pay.

Test Engineer

  • Responsible for ME lab Webscale environment.
  • Lead the identification of automation requirements, the identification of the cases to automate and work with a team who will build based on requirements.
  • Maintain regular interaction with the platform lifecycle.
  • Technical expertise to integrate Red Hat by bringing vendor components into various maturity levels to ensure platform meets required capabilities.
  • Ability to validate end-to-end functionality, scale, and resilience.
  • Design and implement full platform test case automation, covering functional, performance, resiliency, and operational used case.
  • Transitioning troubleshooting notes, logs, and meeting records into procedures that can be presented to operations for implementation in production.
  • Develop and maintain vendor relationships to ensure software release and patch addresses security vulnerabilities, code quality issues, bugs, etc.
  • Develop material and present information to an audience, both of peers and leaders.
