Overview

Regulatory and Cross Product Technology aims to be an industry leading function that delivers sustainable regulatory compliance through technology automation and competitive operating leverage to create a safe and controlled operating environment that protects the Deutsche Bank franchise and its clients. You will work as part of a cross-functional agile delivery team, including analysts, developers, and testers and bring an innovative approach to software development, using the latest technologies and practices, as part of a focus on business value. What You'll Do
  • Participate in the technical design and vision of new applications and ensuring successful implementation, incorporate corporate architectural standards into application design specifications, and identify applicable system platform, components, and dependencies
  • Document application specifications and provide uniform integration into legacy systems.
  • Work with Compliance, Finance, and Operations areas to elicit and document business requirements
  • Develop, deploy and support large-scale distributed applications in a mission-critical production environment, as well as develop test plans and perform code reviews
  • Translate business requirements to a high level technical design and implementation
  • Monitor milestones and critical dates to identify potential jeopardy of schedule and identify / mitigate risk
Skills You'll Need
  • Extensive and excellent Core Java J2SE with Java 8 experience, in addition to experience with Server side cache (Oracle Coherence, RADIS, Hazelcast etc.), excellent Java Memory Management Fundamentals, Multi-threaded Programming, source code control software (e.g.Git), Java Frameworks i.e. Spring; Hibernate, XML Parsing Exposure, and Spring (especially Spring Boot) and REST experience. Micro-service or micro front end experience preferable
  • Experience working on High Throughput Mission Critical High Performance STP Platforms, RDBMS experience preferably Oracle 11g,including Program Languages (PL)/ Structured Query Language (SQL) and stored procedures
  • Working understanding of front-end HTML/JS technologies such as JQuery, and AJAX
  • Test Driven Development & Pair Programming Skills
  • Familiarity with the agile and scrum methodologies

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $100,000 to $142,250. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
