Mechanical Engineer

We re seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with strong HVAC and plumbing system design experience to support large-scale commercial facility development. This role focuses on maintaining design standards, optimizing energy efficiency, and providing technical leadership across new construction and operational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mechanical design standards for HVAC and plumbing systems.

• Coordinate with external design consultants to ensure consistency across multiple projects.

• Review drawings and construction documents for quality control and compliance.

• Oversee commissioning processes and collaborate with third-party consultants.

• Troubleshoot and evaluate existing mechanical systems for performance and efficiency.

• Develop energy models and recommend optimization strategies.

• Partner with architecture, construction, and operations teams to deliver integrated solutions.

• Support construction administration and respond to field or installation issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC Design.

• 7 10 years of experience in mechanical system design for commercial or large-scale facilities.

• Strong understanding of HVAC, energy standards, and commissioning processes.

• Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards.

• Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred

• Experience in project management and construction administration.

• Proficiency with Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Trane TRACE 700, and Microsoft Office.
