Senior EDI System Analyst

Come join a fast growing company in Texas. They are looking for an experienced Senior EDI system analyst with atleast 7 years experience. Also, that works with eXchange Bridge communication software and tools to set up Trading Partners inbound and outbound document exchange. They must be able to communicate professionally with clients, trading partners, and customers. This position is onsite 3 days a week (Tues. - Thursday) and is a 9 month contract role possible extension for the right candidate.

EDI Position responsibility:

1. Configure and maintain EDI software applications and servers

2. Monitor EDI support tickets for SLA purposes.

3. Identifying and resolving issues related to Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems and

transactions.

4. Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data exchanged through EDI.

5. Participating in testing and quality control processes to ensure the functionality of EDI

solutions.

6. Creating and maintaining documentation for EDI processes and workflows.

7. Serve as a liaison between clients and support teams regarding new and existing setups.

a. Find and read customer EDI documents

b. Develop and implement EDI solutions to facilitate business transactions

c. Gather information related to the database so EDI can be translated as needed,

find the correct customer, etc.

d. Understanding business requirements and translating them into EDI

specifications and solutions.

8. First-line support, ability to add or change communications in GTran, Softshare, and

VLTrader.

Summary: Work with eXchangeBridge communication software and tools to set up Trading Partners inbound and outbound document exchange.

New EDI Position skills must have atleast 7 years experience:

1. Must be familiar with EDI standards X12 and EDIFACT

2. Solid understanding of EDI collaboration and related supply chain transaction sets.

3. Strong understanding of file transport protocols including SSHFTP, SFTP, HTTP/S

4. Understand databases used for the EDI system (SQL and Progress)

5. Ability to analyze EDI data and identify patterns

6. Demonstrated on-the-job experience exhibiting problem-solving skills, with an ability to

troubleshoot technical issues and to implement technical solutions.

7. Must be able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical partners

8. Skills that will add value

a. Working knowledge of the Cleo VLTrader MFT application

b. Working knowledge of the Softshare Delta mapping tool

c. Basic understanding of XML.
