We are seeking a highly skilled and technically adept Product Owner / Business Systems Analyst (PO/BSA) to lead initiatives within the Microsoft ecosystem, with specific focus on Sensei PPM (Project Portfolio Management) tool. The ideal candidate will bring a unique blend of business analysis, product ownership, and techno-functional expertise to drive adoption, optimization, and continuous improvement across Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, SharePoint, Power Platform, etc.).

This role will interface with both business and technical stakeholders, acting as a translator of requirements, a champion of productivity tools, and a hands-on owner of the project management environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Product Owner for tools within the Microsoft 365 environment, especially Sensei PPM, driving its roadmap, configuration, and adoption.
  • Perform business systems analysis to understand, document, and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across business units to identify opportunities to enhance project tracking, portfolio visibility, and reporting within Sensei.
  • Troubleshoot technical and user issues across Microsoft 365 tools and environments; partner with support teams to resolve as needed.
  • Support and guide users on the best use of tools like Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Ensure solutions are aligned with enterprise architecture, governance policies, and security standards.
  • Facilitate user training, documentation, and change management initiatives to promote tool adoption and effective use.
  • Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, and product demos in agile or hybrid SDLC environments.
  • Analyze system usage and user feedback to continuously improve platform functionality and user experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3 7+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Systems Analyst, or similar role in a large-scale Microsoft enterprise environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Sensei PPM or similar project portfolio management tools within Microsoft 365.
  • Strong understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook, Power BI, Power Automate, and Azure Active Directory.
  • Proven ability to gather, document, and translate business and technical requirements.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and supporting Microsoft 365 platform tools and integrations.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Scrum, or SAFe frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and facilitate alignment between business and IT.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in highly regulated industries such as finance or banking (e.g., Wells Fargo environment familiarity is a plus).
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals, Teams Administrator Associate, or similar).
  • Experience with Power Apps or custom development in the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Understanding of project management methodologies and tools (PMP or Agile certification is a plus).
  • Experience with data governance, security, and compliance within Microsoft 365.
