Title: Integration Support Engineer


Location: Remote (occasional onsite travel required)
Duration: 3-month contract with possible extension
Eligibility: U.S. Citizenship required (DoD project background highly preferred)
Experience Level: 5-7 years




Overview


We're looking for a seasoned Integration Support Engineer to play a key role in connecting Application with ERP platforms and other enterprise applications. This role requires strong expertise in .NET, SQL Server, and system integrations, with a sharp focus on performance, security, and compliance within regulated environments.




Core Technical Expertise




  • Hands-on experience with C# / .NET Framework (4.8) development




  • Proficiency in SQL Server: writing queries, optimizing stored procedures, and tuning performance




  • Skilled in Windows Authentication and Active Directory integration




  • Strong background in IIS setup, hosting, and troubleshooting




  • Proven ability to develop, support, and integrate APIs (REST and SOAP) with third-party platforms




  • Competence in log analysis and debugging complex integration/application issues




  • Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, and Fiddler




  • PowerShell scripting for automation and server administration




  • Solid understanding of Windows Server environments, database connectivity, and connection pooling




  • Experience with network tracing tools like Wireshark for diagnostics




  • Knowledge of SSL/TLS, certificate management, and secure coding standards




  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for integration deployments




  • Familiarity with SDLC methodologies and compliance requirements (STIG, DoD, or other regulated industries)
