Director of Engineering

Job Description Our client, a prominent Fortune 500 corporation, is in need of a seasoned Director of Engineering to head their software engineering division. This individual will manage several teams dedicated to creating applications utilized by a vast customer base on a regular basis. The successful candidate will possess a wealth of experience in leading impactful software initiatives and cultivating teams of
excellence.Required Skills & Experience

• At least 10+ years of building and overseeing largescale software products
• 5+ years of experience overseeing teams building Web applications
• 2+ years of experience in a Director role overseeing Engineering Managers.
• Knowledge of technologies like JavaScript, React, Nodejs, GraphQL, REST APIs, Java, MongoDB, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, etc.
• Ability to drive strategic direction
• Experience working with Architecture teams to ensure best practices and processes
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Prior Enterprise level experience
• Financial industry experience
