Job Title: Epic-Certified Technical Specialist (Healthy Planet - Population Health)

Location: North Carolina
Certifications Required: Epic Healthy Planet (Required); Cosmos & Ambulatory (Preferred)

Summary

We are seeking an Epic-Certified Technical Specialist to support and build the Healthy Planet Population Health module for the new DSOHF Electronic Health Record (EHR). This role will be the primary point of contact for the assigned Epic modules and requires deep knowledge of Epic systems, technical workflows, and healthcare IT.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary support contact for end-users of the application.

  • Configure, test, and support Epic Healthy Planet and related modules.

  • Develop application solutions using technical and programming expertise.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design workflows and identify system needs.

  • Guide and implement requested changes and enhancements.

  • Maintain communication with Epic and internal teams through regular meetings.

  • Document workflows, develop test plans, and perform quality assurance.

  • Act as a liaison between clinical teams and technical teams.

  • Understand operational policies and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
