RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Coral Gables, FL that is seeking a Senior Audit Associate.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage audit engagements from start to finish, ensuring quality, accuracy, and adherence to timelines
* Review complex financial statements and audit documentation in compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards
* Partner with clients to understand their business operations, communicate audit findings clearly, and deliver actionable insights
* Identify opportunities to enhance internal controls and improve financial reporting processes
* Stay up to date on industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices in audit and compliance
* Provide training and mentorship to junior audit staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
* CPA or CPA eligibility preferred
* 4+ years of public accounting experience, specifically in audit
* Strong understanding of auditing standards, financial reporting, and compliance requirements
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple engagements and deliver high-quality client service in a fast-paced environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
