Azure Network Engineer

Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of an Azure Network Engineer for a contract to hire position in Greenwood Village, CO.

Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled professional responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Azure networking solutions. This role involves optimizing performance, resiliency, scale, and security of Azure networking solutions. The engineer proactively monitors network environments to identify issues and minimize risks, and resolves connectivity issues. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the performance, security, and reliability of Azure networking solutions. With the right skills, expertise, and certification, it offers a rewarding career path in the field of cloud networking.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implement Core Networking Infrastructure: Set up and manage virtual networks, subnets, and network security groups.
  • Manage Connectivity Services: Implement and manage VPNs, ExpressRoute, and other connectivity solutions to ensure secure and reliable connections between on-premises and Azure environments.
  • Application Delivery Services: Configure and manage load balancers, application gateways, and traffic managers to ensure high availability and performance of applications.
  • Private Access to Azure Services: Implement private endpoints and service endpoints to secure access to Azure services.
  • Network Security: Ensure the security of network infrastructure by implementing firewalls, network security groups, and other security measures.
  • This role involves working closely with:
    • Solution Architects to design and implement networking solutions.
    • Cloud Administrators to manage and maintain cloud infrastructure.
    • Security Engineers to ensure the security of network infrastructure.
    • Application Developers to support application deployment and performance.
    • DevOps Engineers to automate and streamline network operations.

Qualifications:

  • Core Network Infrastructure: Understanding of virtual networks, subnets, and network security groups.
  • Hybrid Connectivity: Experience with VPNs, ExpressRoute, and other connectivity solutions.
  • Application Delivery Services: Knowledge of load balancers, application gateways, and traffic managers.
  • Private Access to Azure Services: Implementing private endpoints and service endpoints.
  • Network Security: Implementing firewalls, network security groups, and other security measures.

  • Certification: To demonstrate expertise in Azure networking, obtaining the Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate certification is recommended. This certification validates skills in designing, implementing, and managing Azure networking solutions.
