Role: UX Designer

Location: Fremont CA (Onsite) Only Locals

Duration: Long Term

We are looking for a creative, user-focused UX Designer to craft intuitive and impactful experiences for AI/ML-driven solutions in the high-tech space. You will partner with product managers, data scientists, and engineering teams to transform complex machine learning workflows into seamless, user-friendly interfaces across high-impact platforms such as analytics dashboards, intelligent automation systems, and conversational agents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead user research, persona definition, and journey mapping tailored to high-tech AI/ML use cases.
  • Simplify and translate complex ML workflows, predictions, and decision models into intuitive, accessible UI/UX designs.
  • Design wireframes, interactive prototypes, and user flows using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
  • Collaborate closely with UI engineers and front-end developers to ensure smooth design implementation and iteration.
  • Build user interfaces for AI/ML-enabled dashboards, data visualizations, and smart system controls.
  • Ensure accessibility, responsiveness, and design consistency across enterprise-grade or customer-facing platforms.
  • Conduct usability testing, A/B testing, and continuous feedback loops to refine designs.
  • Drive end-user advocacy in areas like AI transparency, explainability, and user trust, especially in predictive or decision-support systems.
  • Design conversational flows for intelligent virtual assistants, chatbots, or voice interfaces integrated with ML models.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Design, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of UX design experience, including at least 1 year working on AI/ML or data-driven applications.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, or equivalent.
  • Strong command of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and usability heuristics.
  • Hands-on experience with dashboard design, data-heavy interfaces, or analytics platforms.
  • Solid understanding of AI/ML fundamentals including predictions, confidence scores, and model behavior.
  • Experience designing conversational UX for AI agents, chatbots, or voice interfaces.
  • Strong communication skills to clearly articulate design rationale to both technical and non-technical teams.
