Description
We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Modernization Project Manager/Lead to oversee and drive complex projects in Saint Paul, Minnesota. This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of project management principles and technical expertise in modern infrastructure solutions. As a long-term contract position, this opportunity is perfect for an individual eager to lead impactful initiatives while working collaboratively with stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Manage infrastructure modernization projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver project milestones on time and within budget.
Utilize Agile Scrum methodologies to facilitate effective project planning and execution.
Provide technical guidance in areas such as network architecture, enterprise storage, and data center environments.
Monitor and evaluate project progress, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure successful outcomes.
Lead communication efforts with stakeholders to maintain transparency and address concerns.
Oversee resource allocation and workload distribution to optimize team efficiency.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes.
Requirements
Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with a focus on infrastructure modernization.
PMP certification is required.
Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies and their application in project settings.
Expertise in network architecture, enterprise storage, and data center environments.
Proven ability to manage large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills to guide teams and liaise with stakeholders.
Familiarity with computing environments and related technologies.
Experience with content management systems and organizational certification processes is a plus.
