Role: IT Data & Reporting Analyst-Candidate must be a CURRENT SC resident.

Duration of the Contract: 12 Months with possibility of extensions

Job Description:

This role supports a federally mandated initiative involving updates to a large-scale Medicaid information system. The Computer Operator will be responsible for performing monthly billing data extractions from monitoring tools and spreadsheets, transforming the data for reporting purposes, and automating manual tasks where possible. Additional responsibilities include maintaining an executive-level dashboard and providing Tier 1 support for an enterprise ticketing system.

The Computer Operator will work as part of a collaborative IT team composed of internal technology professionals and experienced consultants. We are seeking individuals who are highly productive, flexible, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment with evolving requirements. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision, and capable of understanding high-level objectives while driving deliverables forward.

Daily Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform monthly billing data extraction from system monitoring tools and Excel, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to the billing department.
  • Update, maintain, and support an interactive executive dashboard used for infrastructure reporting.
  • Assist with asset management activities and maintain documentation for repeatable processes.
  • Collaborate with a technical writer to document, verify, and update procedural steps.
  • Provide Tier 1 support as backup to the ticketing system administrator, including modifying forms, updating workspaces, and creating FAQs.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal communications.
  • Work collaboratively with internal staff and contracted team members to support project goals.

Required Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel (queries, reporting, analytics)
  • 2+ years of experience with Power BI
  • 1+ years of experience with BMC Footprints ticketing system
