Role: Mechanical Design Optimization Specialist Location: Franklin, Tennessee (Onsite) Duration: Full-Time
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Mechanical Design Optimization Projects: Contribute to projects aimed at improving our engineering and manufacturing processes.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and process raw data and conduct analysis to support data-driven project prioritization.
- Quality Assurance: Assist in providing quality assurance for new designs and bills of material to ensure they meet our high standards.
- Cost/Benefit Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop comprehensive cost/benefit analyses for proposed projects.
- Troubleshooting and Clarification: Work closely with manufacturing teams to troubleshoot and clarify design concerns, ensuring smooth implementation and production.
Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to process and interpret complex data.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and manufacturing teams.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for quality assurance.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate self-sufficiency in problem-solving.
- Experience in engineering or manufacturing processes is a plus.
- Familiarity with CREO and/or AutoCAD is a plus.
Skills: Creo, Windchill, NPD, Sheetmetal and Plastic component design, AutoCAD.
