Location & Work Arrangement
- City, State: Indianapolis, Indiana
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Onsite 3 days per week, 2 days remote). Local candidates only are considered.
- Contract: This is a Contract position.
- Mode of Interview: Initial interview via Webcam (Teams); Final interview In person only.
Essential Duties and System Focus
The Analyst will play a hands-on role in the full project lifecycle, from requirement gathering through deployment and data integrity management, supporting the Indiana Immunization Registry systems (CHIRP).
1. Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering
- Liaison Role: Serve as the liaison between immunization program teams and IT technical support groups.
- Documentation: Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather and document requirements (e.g., for immunization individual user agreements automation).
- Analysis: Analyze business and user needs, devise new technical business system solutions, and translate them into proper system requirement specifications.
- Process Mapping: Analyze and map business processes to identify areas for improvement and develop business cases for proposed solutions.
2. Quality Assurance & Testing
- Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement quality assurance strategies and test plans.
- Scripting & Execution: Write detailed test scripts and conduct thorough testing (functional, patches, and new modules) of software applications to ensure they meet business requirements and quality standards.
- Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects and issues, ensuring timely resolution. Provide testing results to guide deployment decisions.
3. Data Quality & Integration Support
- Data Integrity: Work with the IT and Immunization team to identify and address critical data quality issues (e.g., Duplicate patients, bad merges, invalid vaccines, duplicate facilities).
- Electronic Data: Address electronic data transmission issues.
- Reporting: Use tools like PHC-Hub and IQ effectively to create reports and notify providers/EMR vendors for data errors, increasing overall data reporting timeliness, accuracy, and completeness.
- Module Testing: Help test new modules added to CHIRP, such as Vaccines transfers, Returns, and VOMS.
4. Project Management & Collaboration
- Track all tickets, follow up with vendors and IT teams for timely resolution, and facilitate the delivery of technical business solutions.
- Plan, schedule, and manage QA projects to ensure timely delivery.
