Job Details

We re seeking a highly experienced Project Engineer III to lead innovative New Product Development (NPD) programs for aerospace systems. This position provides technical leadership across cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, test, and program management while effectively and professionally collaborating directly with clients to drive solutions from concept through Entry-into-Service.
What You ll Do:
Lead integrated engineering teams (5 15 people) on complex aerospace projects
Develop and manage project master schedules aligned with customer milestones
Oversee design, analysis, testing, and certification documentation
Mentor engineers, interface with vendors, and represent engineering in reviews and audits
What You Bring:
5 10+ years in ECS, bleed air, or AMS system/component design
Expertise in ARP 699, FAA/EASA certification, and full lifecycle project delivery
Strong leadership and project management skills
CAD proficiency (CATIA V5/SolidWorks), FEA tools, and aerospace manufacturing knowledge
Candidates must currently reside in Southern California.
