IT Support Specialist - 6-Month Contract (Hybrid)

We're seeking a proactive and customer-focused IT Support Specialist for a 6-month contract with the potential for extension. This role follows a hybrid schedule, requiring on-site presence three days per week.
The ideal candidate will provide technical support to internal employees, addressing a wide range of IT-related issues. This position is best suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly, and enjoys solving problems with a hands-on approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to and troubleshoot support tickets, ideally using ServiceNow.
  • Resolve issues related to Windows operating systems and the Microsoft 365 suite.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through clear, professional communication.
  • Assist users with a variety of technical issues, including outages, hardware/software problems, network connectivity, and system access.
  • Administer and support end-user tools and applications.
  • Document problem-solving techniques and develop procedures for complex issues.
  • Provision and order software and physical assets in line with company policies.
  • Maintain accurate asset records and perform reconciliation analysis.
  • Monitor system health and escalate incidents as needed.
  • Prepare metrics and evaluate service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Stay current on emerging technologies and recommend improvements.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Windows 10/11, Office 365, and general desktop environments.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
  • Comfortable working in a high-volume support environment with time-sensitive issues.
  • Ability to research and resolve issues using manuals, documentation, and online resources.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Windows 11.
  • IT support technologies and programming logic.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work setting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.26/hr.
