AI Evangelist

Infosys is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable AI Evangelist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting the adoption and understanding of AI technologies both internally and externally. You will act as a bridge between technical teams, business leaders, and the broader AI community, helping to shape and share our vision for how AI transforms industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the public voice of the company s AI strategy through blogs, conferences, webinars, and social media.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to translate complex AI concepts into accessible, real-world value stories.
• Educate internal stakeholders, partners, and clients about AI capabilities, limitations, and ethical considerations.
• Build and nurture a community of AI practitioners, developers, and enthusiasts around our platforms or offerings.
• Create and deliver compelling presentations, demos, and content showcasing our AI initiatives.
• Stay current with AI research, tools, and industry trends; provide insights and thought leadership to influence our roadmap.
• Partner with marketing and PR to amplify our AI achievements and case studies.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• At least 16 years in Information Technology
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Hartford, CT or Richardson, TX or Tempe, AZ or Phoenix, AZ or Scottsdale, AZ or Raleigh, NC or Providence, RI or Indianapolis, IN or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.
• Proven experience in AI, machine learning, or data science (technical background highly preferred).
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills able to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated experience in public speaking, technical writing, or community building.
• Deep understanding of the ethical and societal implications of AI.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with technical, product, and marketing teams.
• Experience with generative AI, LLMs, or enterprise AI platforms is a strong plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field.
• Previous experience as a Developer Advocate, Product Evangelist, or in AI-focused thought leadership.
• Published work (blogs, papers, talks) related to AI.
