Job Title: SAP Financial Data Analyst
Location: Remote - CST Hours
Type: Contract (C2C or 1099) or Full-time (W2)
Work Authorization: Must be able to work in the USA
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Analyst with deep expertise in Cost Center Accounting (CCA) and Project Systems (PS) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in financial analytics, a thorough understanding of financial data flows within SAP, and the ability to deliver insightful reporting across both macro and micro views of the IT project portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret financial data flows across SAP FI/CO and PS modules.
- Support VP and PMO on ad hoc and scheduled reporting and analysis of the IT Portfolio
- Collaborate with finance and IT teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting for projects.
- Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards to support strategic decision-making.
- Provide end-to-end visibility into the IT portfolio, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Support month-end and year-end financial close processes related to cost centers and projects.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within SAP.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and work with technical teams to implement solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on functional experience with SAP FI/CO, specifically Cost Center Accounting and Project Systems.
- Strong understanding of financial data structures, flows, and integration points in SAP.
- Proven experience in financial analytics, including variance analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Expertise in SAP reporting tools (e.g., SAP Fiori, SAP BW, SAP Analytics Cloud, or similar).
- Ability to interpret and present data from both strategic (macro) and operational (micro) perspectives.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
- Familiarity with IT portfolio management and project governance frameworks.
- Certification in SAP FI/CO or PS modules is a plus.
