Job Title: Azure Architect Integration & Identity
Location: Paramus, NJ (Onsite)
Duration: 12 Months
Job Description:
- We are seeking an experienced Azure Architect with deep expertise in design, implement, and optimize enterprise grade cloud integration solutions across multiple tenants and environments. The ideal candidate will have strong architectural vision, hands-on engineering ability, and a proven track record of integrating distributed platforms securely and at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Architecture & Design
- Design end to end multi-tenant Azure architectures, ensuring security, scalability, and compliance across all environments.
- Create integration patterns for cross tenant communication, identity federation, data sharing, and resource governance.
- Develop architecture diagrams, high level design (HLD), and low-level design (LLD) documentation.
- Multi-Tenant Integration (MTO)
- Build and manage integrations between multiple Azure AD tenants using:
- Azure B2B/B2C
- Azure AD Cross Tenant Access Settings
- External Identities & Identity Synchronization
- Cross tenant API integrations
- Implement secure API based integrations using Azure API Management, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Event Driven architectures.
- Establish governance models for tenant isolation, RBAC, policy enforcement, and logging.
- Cloud Engineering & Deployment
- Develop reusable components and frameworks for multi-tenant deployments.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions.
- Optimize workloads for reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Security, Compliance & Governance
- Design zero trust and least privilege access models across tenants.
- Integrate cloud resources with Azure Security Center, Defender, Key Vault, Sentinel, and Conditional Access.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards (ISO, SOC, GDPR, etc.).
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with product teams, security, network engineering, and application owners.
- Provide architectural guidance, code reviews, and best practices to development teams.
- Serve as subject matter expert (SME) for Azure multi-tenant design and integration.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Azure architecture and cloud engineering.
- Strong understanding of Azure AD, Identity & Access Management, Cross Tenant configurations.
- Expertise in Azure services:
- APIM
- Azure Functions
- Azure Logic Apps
- Event Grid/Event Hub/Service Bus
- Azure Storage & Data Services
- Deep knowledge of networking, including VNet peering, private endpoints, firewalls, and hybrid connectivity.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code: Bicep, ARM, Terraform.
- Strong understanding of enterprise security, governance, and compliance frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Azure Certifications:
- AZ 305 (Architect)
- AZ 104 / AZ 500
- Enterprise Integration certifications (bonus).
- Experience with M365 Cross Tenant Integration scenarios.
- Familiarity with microservices, container platforms, and Kubernetes (AKS).
- Experience working in multi region, highly regulated environments.
