Job Title: Neo4J Developer/Knowledge Graph Developer

Location: King of Prussia, PA

Overview

We are seeking a Knowledge Graph Developer to support an East Coast based biotech company s AI and data platform initiatives. The role involves enhancing a Neo4j-based knowledge graph integrating biomedical, clinical, and patent data to enable intelligent search and discovery for R&D and commercial use cases.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and extend Neo4j graph databases and related APIs.
• Build and optimize Cypher queries for data ingestion and analytics.
• Collaborate with biology and data platform teams to model entities such as genes, proteins, targets, trials, and patents.
• Integrate graph data with AI/ML pipelines and visualization tools.
• Participate in agile development and occasional onsite workshops (NYC/NJ area).
• Contribute to potential future migration planning toward AWS Neptune.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Neo4j (v5 or later), Cypher, and GraphQL APIs.
• Experience in building or querying knowledge graphs or ontologies.
• Familiarity with AWS services (Neptune, Lambda, API Gateway).
• Proficiency in Python or Java for API and ETL development.
• Understanding of biomedical or life sciences data models
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Requirement

• 1 resource with demonstrated Neo4j experience.
• Start: Immediate
• East Coast based candidates preferred for periodic in-person collaboration
