Informatica System Analyst

Client: Maryland Health Benefit Exchange (MHBE)

POP: 12+ months

Location: Hybrid - Baltimore, MD

SCOPE

Manage and maintain enterprise system operations including Informatica PowerCenter, batch processing, and AWS-hosted applications. Provide 24/7 operational support for complex healthcare marketplace systems with focus on troubleshooting, monitoring, and system administration.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • 3+ years Informatica PowerCenter operations/administration/troubleshooting
  • 3+ years Control-M or equivalent batch operator experience
  • 2+ years PostgreSQL database environment experience
  • Healthcare/health insurance marketplace domain experience
  • Complex enterprise system analytical experience
  • Application and batch integration experience
  • Database and SQL functions knowledge
  • System troubleshooting and team collaboration abilities
  • Multi-disciplinary team communication skills
  • AWS Java applications troubleshooting preferred (3+ years)
  • 5+ years complex enterprise operations support preferred
  • Critical thinking and problem resolution skills
  • EDI operations knowledge preferred
  • Java runtime environment concepts understanding

TASKS

  • Install, configure, and manage Informatica PowerCenter
  • Assess Informatica upgrade impacts on mappings/workflows/ETL processes
  • Troubleshoot system outages and application code errors in AWS
  • Generate and install security certificates and PGP keys
  • Create and schedule batches using Control-M tool
  • Restore Informatica services and manage user governance controls
  • Configure/maintain RedHat JBoss, Fuse, Apache, Tomcat HTTP servers
  • Perform system troubleshooting using Splunk logs analysis
  • Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot SSL certificates
  • Improve application/batch/web service scripts
  • Provide issue resolution recommendations and risk mitigation
  • Manage Jenkins configuration for automated builds
  • Monitor and configure Splunk application monitoring
  • Execute daily batch scripts (24/7 including weekends/holidays)
  • Perform capacity planning and scalability planning
  • Manage JIRA Service Desk incidents and change processes
  • Support releases and change control adherence
  • Conduct scheduled maintenance, patching, performance tuning, backups
