Our client is a leading federal program partner supporting mission-critical IT systems and business operations. They specialize in delivering innovative technology solutions, with a strong emphasis on database management, analytics, and software lifecycle support. This role will join a collaborative team of developers, engineers, and business analysts working to improve operational efficiency and support key federal initiatives.
Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid potential)
Clearance Requirement: U.S. Citizenship required, DOJ MBI Level 5 background investigation
Pay: $30 an hour

Responsibilities:
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve routine and advanced issues across assigned functional areas.
- Assess, gather, and document client application requirements.
- Conduct benchmark needs analyses and define technical requirements.
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain client environments and technical solutions.
- Perform SQL queries to troubleshoot issues, validate data, and support database integrity.
- Suggest enhancements for system integration and improvements to database design.
- Coordinate closely with developers, testers, operations, and stakeholders to deliver solutions.
- Develop technical documentation and present application demonstrations.
- Support testing and implementation efforts, including back-end database validation.
Experience Requirements: Required Experience & Technical Skills
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience in technical requirement gathering and analysis.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and database management.
- Hands-on experience with software testing and implementation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of Google Data Studio or similar reporting/analytics tools (ideal).
- Ability to analyze data, troubleshoot database issues, and create technical documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
- Proactive problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong service orientation.
- Professional attitude and ability to thrive in a team-driven environment.
Education Requirements: Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent 4+ years of specialized experience).
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
