RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Houston, TX that is seeking an IT Project Manager - Cloud Security.

Summary:
The Project Manager will lead cloud and security-focused technology projects as part of a broader IT transformation. This role manages end-to-end project delivery-planning, execution, reporting, and implementation-across areas such as cloud security, identity management, network security, and data protection.

Responsibilities:
* Developing project plans, coordinating shared technical resources, managing budgets, assessing risks, and resolving issues
* Oversee tasks such as requirements gathering, vendor coordination, solution design, configuration, testing, integration, deployment, and project closeout
* Acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure solutions meet operational and strategic needs
* Maintain alignment on requirements, documentation, timelines, and priorities while managing multiple concurrent projects
* Leading cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration across IT, security, operations, and vendors
* Coordinating decisions across teams, managing schedules and project logs, and completing initial budget reviews

REQUIREMENTS:
* Preferred certifications: PMP, CISSP, CCSP, CCSK, or similar
* 5+ years of project management experience in IT security and compliance
* 5+ years of IT experience
* Experience managing multiple complex technical projects
* Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and cloud architecture
* Understanding of cybersecurity principles, including network security, encryption, IAM, data protection, risk management, threat modeling, and defense-in-depth
* Clear communication, status reporting, analysis of risks and dependencies, and proactive problem-solving are essential
* Adaptability, strong decision-making under pressure, and the ability to manage shifting priorities in a dynamic environment
* Familiarity with security standards and frameworks relevant to cloud computing
* Understanding of SDLC processes within cloud environments
* Ability to ensure projects comply with security policies, standards, and regulations
* Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
* Ability to work with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making
* Proficiency with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
* Skilled with MS Project, Azure DevOps/TFS, Microsoft Office, and Visio

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
