We’re partnered with a major healthcare technology organization modernizing its data infrastructure and application stack. They’re seeking a Senior Software Engineer (C#/.NET) who excels in designing and scaling backend systems that feed and consume high-volume data pipelines.
If you enjoy solving complex integration problems, building reliable APIs, and writing clean, testable code that powers data-driven decisions, this is your kind of role.
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and optimize backend APIs and microservices using .NET Core / C# to support near-real-time and batch data ingestion.
- Develop and maintain scalable, high-transaction services integrated with cloud data platforms like Snowflake.
- Partner with data engineering teams to align application output with data warehouse development, ETL/ELT, and OLAP models.
- Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end tests as part of a test-driven development (TDD) culture.
- Collaborate with QA and DevOps engineers to maintain continuous testing and CI/CD automation.
- Contribute to architecture decisions, emphasizing performance, reliability, and data quality.
- Mentor junior engineers on API best practices, clean code, and modern engineering standards.
- Participate in production support/on-call rotations for critical data-driven applications (healthcare data doesn’t sleep).
What You Bring - 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with C#/.NET Core in cloud-based environments (Azure preferred).
