We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager with Salesforce Experience cloud to lead the development and delivery of multiple Salesforce Experience Cloud initiatives. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, including Business System Analyst, Developers and QA engineers. This role requires a strategic thinker and hands-on leader with a proven track record of managing complex technical projects in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. You will be responsible for overseeing cross-functional engineering teams, driving end-to-end technical execution, and delivering customer-facing portals that support scalable business growth.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce development and a proven track record of delivering high-quality digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of Salesforce developers and QA engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of multiple Experience Cloud sites, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
Act as a technical leader and problem solver, capable of navigating ambiguity, resolving blockers, and making data-driven decisions to ensure project momentum
Technical Oversight: Provide hands-on guidance in Salesforce development, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative tools.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, UX/UI designers, product and engineering and architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain robust QA processes, including automated testing and code reviews, to ensure delivery of high-quality solutions.
Experienced with Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and ensure adherence to Agile methodologies.
Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of Salesforce updates and best practices, integrating new features and improvements into existing platforms.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience:
5+ years of experience in Salesforce development, with a focus on Experience Cloud.
2+ years in a leadership or managerial role overseeing development teams.
Proven experience in delivering multiple Experience Cloud initiatives.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Apex, LWC, and Salesforce declarative tools.
Strong understanding of Experience Cloud architecture, sharing rules, and customization options.
Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
Certifications: Salesforce certifications such as Experience Cloud Consultant, Platform Developer I/II, or Administrator is highly preferred.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
Experience with other Salesforce Clouds (e.g., Service Cloud, Sales Cloud).
Knowledge of UX/UI principles and best practices for community portals.
Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
