Baer is looking for Databricks Architect for a 3+ month remote project
Title: Databricks Architect
Location: Remote (Must be based in US)
Duration: 3 months
Rate: All-Inclusive
Alignment: W2
Description:

• Design and manage scalable solutions on the Databricks platform.
• Oversee Databricks workspace configuration, cluster setup, and job orchestration.
• Administer user roles, access controls, and workspace policies.
• Implement automation using Databricks REST APIs.
• Collaborate with data engineering and DevOps teams to integrate Databricks into enterprise data workflows.
• Ensure best practices in performance, security, and cost optimization.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience with a deep understanding of Databricks architecture, including workspaces, clusters, jobs, and notebooks.
• Strong experience in Databricks administration: user management, access controls, and workspace configuration.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks.
• Familiarity with Databricks REST APIs and automation tools/scripts.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Scala for developing data pipelines and solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
