Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Location: Greenwood Village, CO 80111 - 4 days/week onsite, 1 day remote

Duration: 6-12-month contract to hire

Pay: $45-$55/hour W2

Other Requirements: must be local to the Denver metro area

JOB OVERVIEW

We're looking for a DevOps Engineer with strong cloud infrastructure and automation skills to help us scale our platform and development operations. You'll work closely with backend engineers, product managers, and other teams to build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native infrastructure.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role in a collaborative environment that values initiative, ownership, and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support a growing team of developers


• Manage and scale containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes


• Work closely with development teams to ensure infrastructure supports product and API layer growth


• Automate and streamline deployment, monitoring, and reliability workflows


• Ensure high availability and performance of production systems


• Participate in on-call rotation and incident response

What We're Looking For:

• 2-3 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles


• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.)


• Strong working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes in a production setting


• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud providers


• Solid scripting and automation skills (e.g., Bash, Python, or similar)


• Strong problem-solving abilities and a high level of ownership


• Previous experience at high-tech companies (e.g., Amazon, Google, Apple, etc.) is highly preferred

Our Tech Stack:

• Frontend/Dashboard: Vue.js, Django (Python), REST APIs, PostgreSQL


• API Layer: TypeScript, Node.js, Effect


• Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD Pipelines


• Billing: Evolving system (confidential at this time)
