MCPS Department of Business Information Services is in the process of implementing a variety of technical business operations projects to support the school district. Recently, MCPS implemented the Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) solution, part of the Oracle Cloud Fusion platform. This solicitation is for an Oracle HCM Payroll and Benefits consultant to provide technical and functional support for MCPS payroll and benefits department. The consultant will report to the Payroll department Supervisor.
Working with the Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) application, the contractor will provide support for Oracle's HCM solutions, with a focus on the Payroll modules within the Oracle Cloud HCM or Oracle Fusion HCM platforms. The consultant will work with MCPS Employee and Retiree Service Center (ERSC) payroll functional team to provide ongoing support for the Oracle HCM Payroll system including support for the Time and Leave (OTL), Absence (ABS) and Benefits (BEN) modules, ensuring system stability and helping to identify defects and areas of process improvement. The contractor will also perform varied
and complex duties and tasks, that need independent judgment, to implement Oracle HCM payroll product features to meet our business needs.
Contractor may be asked to:
? Work with functional teams and business stakeholders to implement solutions using Oracle HCM Cloud and MCPS custom Payroll configurations
? Configure payroll business workflow and rules
? Conduct product and process review sessions and trainings for payroll related product/module features
? Lead testing efforts, test case preparation, and testing solution with users
? Lead creation of configuration workbooks, and assist with functional configuration of Oracle HCM Payroll, Benefits, Time and Labor, and Absence Management modules
? Assist the integration consulting team (i.e., managed services) in helping to configure and test integrations between Payroll and third-party solutions
? Provide super user and end user training on Oracle HCM Payroll, Benefits, Time and Labor and Absence Management modules
? Facilitate workshops, provide best practice advice related to functional configurations
? Review solution design for end-to-end process efficiencies
? Create and review documentation for client s reference
? Troubleshoot, analyze and resolve issues
? Develop and maintain payroll and benefits reports
? Must have hands on functional experience with Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll, Benefits, Absence Management and Time & Labor modules
