Job Details

A leading utility provider located in New York is looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Junior Data Analyst to identify meter work that was not captured in the ProField Encore system and follow up with the corresponding installation group to ensure the paperwork capturing the job details is submitted.

Local candidates only please. Role is hybrid (2-3 days onsite).
Key Responsibilities:

  • Confirm and document why the user didn t use the ProField Encore system.
  • Identify meter work that was not captured in the ProField Encore system and follow up with the corresponding installation group to ensure the paperwork capturing the job details is submitted
  • Create communications and reports on these activities.
  • Track the movement of and provide support for the use of AMI equipment and devices in the field.
  • Support Meter Asset Management System (MAMS) when needed (audit reviews, access request and presentation slides).
  • Candidate must be a self-starter that actively engages issues seeking resolution.

  • Data Entry & Data Validation: Accuracy in identifying and documenting discrepancies within systems (e.g., ProField Encore, MAMS).

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to track, audit, and reconcile data related to meter work and AMI equipment.

  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging with installation teams and drafting reports.

  • Problem-Solving: Proactively investigates and resolves missing data issues and process gaps.

  • Reporting: Ability to create clear, concise reports and presentations to communicate findings and track progress.

  • Proficiency in Excel: Data tracking, basic reporting, and analysis.

  • Familiarity with Metering Systems: Exposure to systems like ProField Encore and Meter Asset Management Systems (MAMS).

  • Database or CRM Tools (preferred but not required): Experience updating and querying data in enterprise systems.

  • Basic Knowledge of AMI Equipment (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) and its field application.

Additional Preferred:

  • Prior experience with utilities (gas and electric).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Adaptability/flexibility.
  • Agile learner.
