Capital Markets Program Manager - Onsite in Denver, CO

We re seeking a Capital Markets Program Manager to lead large-scale, high-visibility initiatives within the financial services domain. This is not a Project Manager role this is an opportunity for a seasoned Program or Portfolio Manager to drive transformation across multiple initiatives simultaneously. You'll be at the helm of strategic planning, cross-functional team leadership, and stakeholder engagement for programs that span the capital markets landscape.

If you have a deep understanding of capital markets, financial systems, and program execution and have delivered complex programs from inception to implementation we want to hear from you.

What You ll Do:

  • Manage multiple end-to-end programs and projects concurrently within the capital markets and financial services domain.

  • Define program scope, build strategic roadmaps, and create detailed project plans aligned with organizational goals.

  • Lead cross-functional teams including PMs, engineers, QA, and business analysts.

  • Oversee program budgets, track spend, and analyze financial variances.

  • Serve as the primary contact for internal stakeholders, clients, and senior leadership.

  • Identify and mitigate program risks through proactive planning and governance frameworks.

  • Maintain clear, consistent documentation and provide regular updates to executive stakeholders.

What We re Looking For:

  • 12 15+ years of total experience, with 5+ years specifically in program or portfolio management roles.

  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple full-lifecycle programs across capital markets, financial services, or fintech domains.

  • Experience with legacy modernization, application development life cycles, and systems integration projects.

  • Strong organizational, financial management, and stakeholder communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

  • Deep knowledge of capital markets and financial instruments.

  • Understanding of residential mortgage products, loan origination, and securitization.

  • Experience working with or analyzing REITs, mortgage lenders, or specialty finance institutions.

  • Familiarity with corporate finance, including ROE, cost of capital, and leverage.

  • Understanding of MBS, hedging strategies, margin allocation, and risk management.
