Capital Markets Program Manager - Onsite in Denver, CO
We re seeking a Capital Markets Program Manager to lead large-scale, high-visibility initiatives within the financial services domain. This is not a Project Manager role this is an opportunity for a seasoned Program or Portfolio Manager to drive transformation across multiple initiatives simultaneously. You'll be at the helm of strategic planning, cross-functional team leadership, and stakeholder engagement for programs that span the capital markets landscape.
If you have a deep understanding of capital markets, financial systems, and program execution and have delivered complex programs from inception to implementation we want to hear from you.
What You ll Do:
Manage multiple end-to-end programs and projects concurrently within the capital markets and financial services domain.
Define program scope, build strategic roadmaps, and create detailed project plans aligned with organizational goals.
Lead cross-functional teams including PMs, engineers, QA, and business analysts.
Oversee program budgets, track spend, and analyze financial variances.
Serve as the primary contact for internal stakeholders, clients, and senior leadership.
Identify and mitigate program risks through proactive planning and governance frameworks.
Maintain clear, consistent documentation and provide regular updates to executive stakeholders.
What We re Looking For:
12 15+ years of total experience, with 5+ years specifically in program or portfolio management roles.
Demonstrated experience managing multiple full-lifecycle programs across capital markets, financial services, or fintech domains.
Experience with legacy modernization, application development life cycles, and systems integration projects.
Strong organizational, financial management, and stakeholder communication skills.
Preferred Experience:
Deep knowledge of capital markets and financial instruments.
Understanding of residential mortgage products, loan origination, and securitization.
Experience working with or analyzing REITs, mortgage lenders, or specialty finance institutions.
Familiarity with corporate finance, including ROE, cost of capital, and leverage.
Understanding of MBS, hedging strategies, margin allocation, and risk management.
